This cylindrical hand-built Candleholder by Julie Buckworth is glazed in a soft white. The surface is decorated with evenly spaced, hand-punched holes arranged in a simple geometric pattern allowing the light to shine through. The candle is battery powered and flameless and the light gradually changes colour. The soft light filters through the perforations creating a gentle dotted pattern on the surrounding surfaces. It is smooth and tactile and makes both a decorative and ambient lighting piece.
