This Original Oil Painting is painted on a Gum Leaf by Sue Hend-Russell. The gum leaf has been preserved and treated to not break down over time. Sue has then painted this beautiful oil of Grasstrees in the Bunya Mountains in QLD. The vista through the three towering Grasstrees looks down into the valley beyond and through to another range of blue mountains in the distance. I love that Sue has been able to incorporate such detail on a gum leaf. The leaf is 46 x 190mm and including the frame it measures 250 x 385mm.
