“GREECE” ~ Original Watercolour Painting 

This lovely Watercolour of a charming Greek house with the once white stucco walls now weathered and peeling. The large paving stones surface has been worn sooth by years of footsteps. The bold doors and shutters add a warm touch of colour as does the pot of red geraniums. I love the rustic charm in this one. It was painted by Chris Boughen. Chris achieves a depth of colour rarely seen in Watercolour. The painting measures 350 x 265mm and is framed with double Mat board and under glass. Including the frame it is 540 x 440mm. Chris’s work has been exhibited in local shows and Floressence, the Annual art exhibition of the Botanical Artists’ Society of QLD. In 2015 Chris received an Emerging Artist Award and in 2018 an Honorary Mention at the Daphne Young Watercolour Art Exhibition in Armidale.
