The idea for Two Galahs Gallery came about initially as a way to pass on some of the my husband’s extensive Private Collection. Ron Grant has collected Fine Art over a period of some 20 years. He has been told many times that he has a ‘good eye for good Art’.
After moving to Toogoolawah in 2018 we found we had way too many paintings to hang on the walls of our new home. A Gallery seemed a better way to sell some of our Pre-Loved Art than eBay,
I always wanted to feature local Artists in the Gallery & I’ve been overwhelmed with the support & interest. I have Artists & Artisans comprising Painting in Acrylics, Oils & Watercolours, Paper Tole, Pottery, Leather Plaiting, Jewellery, Woodwork, China Painting, Horseshoe Garden Décor, Timber Boxes, Pyrography, Quilting, Crochet, Knitting, Candles, Soaps and more.
I now have over 50 different Artists displaying their works. We have regular Quilting & Spinning Groups meeting and a variety of Workshops happening. I’m thrilled with the number of locals browsing regularly & of course we have many visitors coming through the beautiful Brisbane Valley & exploring the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail.
